From an idea to a product ready to compete
Naming, brand identity, folding cartons, corrugated shippers, dielines and print files. This is the work that turns a factory reference into something the buyer can put a price tag on.
What product development covers

Naming
A name that can be registered at destination, that reads in the market language and that fits on the panel at the size the pack allows. We propose a shortlist with the reasoning behind each option.
- Shortlist
- Market reading
- Panel fit

Brand identity for the line
Logotype, colour, typography and the rules for applying them across sizes. It is built for print on carton and on film first, because that is where the brand actually lives.
- Logotype
- Colour
- Type rules

Packaging design
Folding cartons, sleeves, header cards, labels and the shipper. The pack is designed against the real dieline of the factory, so what is approved on screen is what comes off the press.
- Folding carton
- Sleeve
- Label

Corrugated shippers
The shipper is sized to the pallet and to the container, not the other way round. Flute, board grade and count per box are decided together, because they set the freight cost per unit.
- Flute
- Board grade
- Count per box

Dielines and print files
Every job is handed over with its dieline, its editable artwork and the file the printer receives. The buyer keeps them, so a reprint never depends on us being available.
- Dieline
- Editable artwork
- Print-ready file

Prototypes and pre-production samples
A mock-up on the real board, with the real print, before the run. It is the cheapest place to find a mistake, and the only sample that both sides sign against.
- Mock-up
- Real board
- Signed sample
Formats we produce
The format is chosen by how the item is displayed and how it travels, not by what looks best on a screen.
Folding carton
Printed board, glued or tuck-end, for items sold from a shelf.
Corrugated shipper
Sized to the pallet and the container, with the count printed on the side.
Blister and header card
For small items sold from a hook, with the hang tab die-cut to the fixture.
Flow pack film
For wipes and soft goods, with a resealable lid where the format allows.
Label and barcode
Applied to the unit and to the shipper, readable at the destination scanner.
Manual and insert
Written in the market language, folded to the size the box actually has.
The files belong to the buyer
Dielines, editable artwork and print-ready files are handed over with the order. Nothing about the brand stays locked on our side.
